Local student to attend conference

Elisha Myers will join a very select group of some of the most highly acclaimed students in Ohio to take part in an extraordinary leadership conference Oct. 25 to 28 sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC). Elisha, the daughter of Thomas and Karen Myers of Norwalk, will participate in the four-day National Young Leaders State Conference in Ohio, which will be held in Columbus.

Elisha Myers will join a very select group of some of the most highly acclaimed students in Ohio to take part in an extraordinary leadership conference Oct. 25 to 28 sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC).

Elisha, the daughter of Thomas and Karen Myers of Norwalk, will participate in the four-day National Young Leaders State Conference in Ohio, which will be held in Columbus.

The NYLSC honors and recognizes outstanding students for scholarship achievement and leadership potential.

An honors student at Norwalk High School, she was nominated, while attending middle school, by Julie Pietrangelo.

She is the granddaughter of Boyd Myers, of Alliance, and Sonya Kaurich of Beloit.
