Norwalk library book sales set for this week

The Friends of the Norwalk Public Library will hold its annual fall book sale Wednesday through Saturday at the library. Donations of "lightly used" books, music CDs, DVDs, videocassettes, games, puzzles, PC hardware and software are welcomed and can be brought to the library.

The Friends of the Norwalk Public Library will hold its annual fall book sale Wednesday through Saturday at the library.

Donations of "lightly used" books, music CDs, DVDs, videocassettes, games, puzzles, PC hardware and software are welcomed and can be brought to the library.

Hours for the sale are as follows: 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday; and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

A special pre-sale for Friends members only will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday

"New items will be added daily so book lovers may want to visit several times during the week to see everything," library director Martin Haffey said.

Book-sale proceeds support library reading programs, visits from authors and illustrators, and other activities.

Persons wanting to join the Friends can call Jeff Reed at (419) 663-0329. Memberships are $4 for individuals and $6 for families. Sponsorships are $25 and a lifetime membership is $100.
