Beginner's course about eBay offered

Does the idea of selling to the world from the comfort of your own home appeal to you? Did you know that eBay has more than 3.5 million registered users just in the state of Ohio? This in-depth beginner's course will teach you everything you need to know to begin selling your own treasures on eBay. Two sessions will be offered, session one will be from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday and session two from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 9 and 11. Both sessions will be held at the Ernsthausen Community Center meeting room. Cost is $30 per session (includes manual); $10 due at time of registration, $20 due to instructor at the beginning of the class. All participants must be registered by Sept. 27. Youth Yoga This class will help your child acquire a general knowledge of the body, learn about correct posture, strength, and flexibility. Children of all physical abilities are welcome, as yoga is not achievement-oriented. Each child will achieve to their own level. At the end of each class, children will learn relaxation, concentration, and practice being quiet and still. Class sessions will be held from 6:15 to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Oct. 1 to 22 at Ernsthausen Community Center meeting room. Children ages 6 to 10 years are welcome to register. Cost is $12 member/$16 universal. All participants must be registered by Oct. 28.

Interval Cycling This class is designed specifically for teens wanting to jump in on the latest trends of fitness. Indoor cycling can be enjoyed all year long, and is a great cardiovascular workout for all ages. Combine this with weight strengthening and other conditioning exercises to give a full body workout. Each class will include a portion of spinning, as well as strength and conditioning exercises. Participants 11 to 16 years are welcome to register. Class will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Oct. 4 to 25. Cost is $15 for members and $20 universal. Minimum height requirement of 4-feet 11-inches to assure proper set-up and safety on the bike. All participants must be registered by Monday.

Dodgeball League fall meetings will be at 7:15 p.m. Monday at the Ernsthausen Community Center.

Indoor cycling classes, a great non-impact cardio class performed on special stationary bikes. Whether you are new to an aerobics class, or an avid outdoor cyclist, indoor cycling is a great cardiovascular workout-burning 500 to 700 calories in a 45-minute class. New classes will be starting Monday. Fees are $20 members, $25 universal for a four-class session. Drop-in fees are $5.50 members, $6.50 universal.
