Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at 55 Milan Ave. Returned to station at 9:20.

Responded to a smoke detector alarm at 6:14 p.m. Thursday at 208A Ohio 61 E. Returned to station at 6:40.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 11:37 a.m. Thursday at 80 E. Main St. Returned to station at 11:53.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 11:19 a.m. Thursday at 12 Rule St. Returned to station at 11:25.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at 24 Executive Drive. Returned to station at 11.

Responded to an accidental fire alarm activation at 201 Cline St. at 10:390 a.m. Thursday. Returned to station at 10:45.

Responded to an alarm activation at 243 Benedict Ave. at 7:05 a.m. Thursday. Ohio Edison was on the scene. Returned to station at 10:22.

NORWALK POLICE

Dispatched a sick raccoon Thursday on Old State Road.

An area resident reported an abandoned bicycle Thursday on Whitefield Boulevard.

Regina E. Parker, 39, 14 Ontario St., was arrested on a warrant Thursday and charged with failing to pay fines and costs on an original charge of theft. She is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

A Townsend Avenue resident reported Thursday two small children were in the road, causing traffic to be stopped. Police forwarded a report to the Huron County Department of Job and Family Services.

Ella Reiff, 34, address unknown, was arrested Thursday on warrants and failing to pay fines and costs. She also was charged with failing to file city income taxes for 2003 and 2005. She is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

Erguine "Erquin" A. Bonilla, 27, address unknown, was charged with an open container violation and driving under the influence Thursday.

Responded to a report of a possible suicide attempt Thursday at a North Pleasant Street business.

Responded to a call Friday about a 20-inch Pacific BMX-style bicycle found on W. Washington Street.

A white vehicle, driver unknown, hit the vehicle Thursday owned by Carol J. Mechling, of New London at a Norwood Avenue business.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Responded with a Willard ambulance request for a Portage Path, Willard, resident Thursday.

A South U.S. 250 business reported someone entered the business by force, damaged the front door and stole some items Thursday.

A U.S. 20, Collins, resident reported receiving threatening phone calls Thursday.

An area resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of a Wakeman Townline Road, Wakeman, resident Thursday.

The Bellevue Police Department requested a Yingling Road, Bellevue resident contact their department Thursday.
