Masimore promoted at FRMC

SANDUSKY - Firelands Regional Medical Center has announced Rebecca Masimore has accepted the position of director of physician relations. As director of physician relations, Masimore is responsible for coordination and operation of physician liaison functions, the facilitation of positive physician relationships, identification of value-added services for physician practices and among other duties provide orientation and education relative to the Firelands Regional Health System including support for both new and established physicians.

SANDUSKY - Firelands Regional Medical Center has announced Rebecca Masimore has accepted the position of director of physician relations.

As director of physician relations, Masimore is responsible for coordination and operation of physician liaison functions, the facilitation of positive physician relationships, identification of value-added services for physician practices and among other duties provide orientation and education relative to the Firelands Regional Health System including support for both new and established physicians.

Masimore brings to her position 25 years of nursing experience, nine of which have been spent at Firelands Regional Medical Center as an RN on the medical/telemetry floor, cardiovascular ICU, Outpatient surgery and as a nurse recruiter. Prior to coming to Firelands Regional Medical Center, Masimore worked at the Northern Ohio Surgical Center and spent 14 years at the Medical College of Ohio.

Masimore earned her associate of applied science in medical assisting technology from the University of Toledo and holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Lourdes College. Masimore currently resides in Port Clinton with her three children.
