HIGHWAY PATROL

James R. Perry, 35, of 21 Newton St., was charged with failure to control Friday after his vehicle hit the vehicle driven by Brandi N. Saylor, 18, of 2971 Court Road, Collins, on Ohio 18.

NORWALK POLICE

No citation was issued after Kathleen K. Gerber, 42, of 9 Erie St., was operating a vehicle that bumped a fire hydrant on St. Mary's Street.

Barbara A. Fisher, 58, of 7 Stoutenburg Drive, was charged with failure to yield Monday on West Main Street in the collision with the vehicle driven by Jonathan D. Stein, 29, of 6985 Kuhn Road.

Dana W. Elkin, 33, no address available, was charged with voluntary intoxication Monday.

A Whittlesey Avenue resident reported Monday the DirecTV box was stolen from the residence, but was returned later.

Michael P. McConnell, 24, no address available, was arrested Monday on a Huron Municipal Court contempt of court warrant. He was turned over to the Huron Police Department.

Received a report of a possible altercation between a postal carrier and a Christie Avenue resident Monday. The resident said the postal carrier hit her with mail. The carrier said he was protecting himself from the resident's dog. Police forwarded a report to the Norwalk Law Director's office for the consideration of charges.

Timothy D. Belcher, 45, no address available, was arrested today on a Sandusky County Common Pleas Court contempt of court warrant. The original charge was failure to appear for a pretrial hearing. He was turned over to the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office.

Brandy L. Pfingston, 29, no address available, was charged with disorderly conduct today.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

An East Street, New Haven, resident reported vehicle damage Saturday.

A Gibbs Road resident reported a sick raccoon Monday.

Assisted at a Ridge Road accident scene Monday, where a deputy later requested the coroner who came to a Norwalk funeral home. Dispatchers sent North Central EMS, the state Highway Patrol and Norwalk Fire Department to the crash site.

Checked on the well-being of residents living on South Main Street, North Fairfield, and Wakeman Townline Road, Wakeman, Monday.

An employee of Western Reserve High School reported a staff member located drugs in the school Monday.

Received a report of an alarm activation on Wenz Road, Wakeman, Monday.

A Zenobia Road resident reported an abandoned vehicle Monday.

Received reports of unruly juveniles Monday on South Main Street, North Fairfield, and U.S. 224, Greenwich.

Received a theft report from a Mills Road, Plymouth, resident Monday. NORWALK FIRE

Cleaned up debris and antifreeze at an accident at West Main Street and Ohio 61 at 2:31 p.m. Monday. Returned to station at 3:13.

Responded to 2273 Ridge Road at 1:02 p.m. Monday for a vehicle rollover. The driver was extricated by the fire department. Returned to station at 2:45.
