We're taking quarterback Charlie Frye's move in stride here in Huron County, and we haven't given up on our hometown hero.

The Reflector asked people "What do you think about what happened to Charlie Frye?" Forty-six percent responded, "It was the best thing that could happen; he'll do great with a real team and a good coach."

Another 14 percent gave Frye the vote of confidence saying, "He never got a chance; the team gave up on him too soon."

Eleven percent, however, said, "He's lucky he lasted this long; he was never ready to be a starter." And 14 percent were similarly down on Frye, saying, "It was the right move; he may have the heart, but he doesn't have the skills for the NFL."

Fifteen percent say they have already moved on, saying, "I love Brady ... Who's Charlie?"
