A Norwalk woman charged with two counts of trafficking in heroin will go to trial Aug. 1 in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

Taylor Krueger, 22, of 46A State St., entered "not guilty" pleas to both charges Tuesday. Since she is on an ankle monitor through an unspecified Erie County felony case, Judge Jim Conway released her on a personal recognizance bond and ordered her to submit to random drug screens.

Huron County Public Defender David Longo said the heroin charges predate what reportedly happened in Erie County.
