Preservation summit slated for Nov. 1

REYNOLDSBURG The Ohio Department of Agriculture will host the eighth annual Ohio Farmland Preservation Summit in Reynoldsburg from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 1. This year's summit theme is Growing Our Economy through Agriculture, and topics will focus on growing local economies through food and agriculture and planning for agriculture.

REYNOLDSBURG The Ohio Department of Agriculture will host the eighth annual Ohio Farmland Preservation Summit in Reynoldsburg from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 1.

This year's summit theme is Growing Our Economy through Agriculture, and topics will focus on growing local economies through food and agriculture and planning for agriculture.

First Lady Frances Strickland will be the luncheon keynote speaker.

This year's summit will allow for more networking and interacting among participants and speakers.

Interested farmers, landowners, local officials, land trusts, citizens, and agency personnel are encouraged to participate in networking and strategy discussions about how to preserve Ohio farmland.
