A Chenango Road, New London, resident reported hearing some suspicious noises in a nearby corn field while she was putting out her trash Thursday.

Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation at a U.S. 20, Monroeville, business Thursday.

A Fitchville River Road, New London, resident reported her 9-year-old grandson refused to go to school after missing the bus Thursday.

A Collins Road, Collins, resident reported the theft of 4 1/2 gallons of gas from her lawn mower and gas can left in an unlocked building Thursday.

A Rome Greenwich Road, Greenwich, resident reported the theft of money Thursday.

An Ohio 601 resident reported a domestic dispute Thursday.

Received two reports from complainants who reported being harassed Thursday on East U.S. 20, Wakeman.

A Pleasant Street, Willard, resident reported being harassed Thursday.

A Peru Olena Road resident reported "blaring music" from Olena Presbyterian Church was going on for five hours Thursday and was louder than his television.

NORWALK POLICE

Dispatched a sick raccoon Thursday on Queen Anne Way.

Stephen W. Lay, 33, of 79 Cline St., Apt. F, was arrested on three warrants Thursday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. The original charges were disorderly conduct, driving without a license and driving under a drug offense suspension. Lay is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

Two area residents reported their two white Mongoose mountain bikes were missing from a Williams Street front yard Thursday.

An East Main Street resident reported his two children, 13 and 15, left the home without permission Thursday and ran north on Mack Street. The complainant later reported the children returned home after taking a walk.

A Cline Street resident reported hearing a gun shot coming from the upstairs apartment today. The two suspects, William A. McKnight, 26, and Ivy N. Filius, 20, whose addresses were unavailable, admitted to shooting the firearm and each were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, disorderly conduct and child endangerment. Filius also was charged with underage consumption and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient with chest pain at 3:22 p.m. Thursday at 12 1/2 Norwood Ave. Returned to station at 3:50.
