CLEVELAND - The 12th annual Taste of Cleveland just announced the addition of The Romantics and Donnie Iris and The Cruisers to the Labor Day weekend food and music festival lineup. The Romantics along with Donnie Iris and The Cruisers will perform on opening night, Aug. 31, at Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City (formerly Tower City Amphitheater).
The Romantics truly captured the 80s with their catchy, energetic songs and stylish music videos. The band will share its string of memorable hits including "What I Like About You," "Talking in Your Sleep" and "One in a Million" on the Bud Light Main Stage at 8.
An adopted hometown favorite, Donnie Iris and The Cruisers will perform all their classic tunes for Taste of Cleveland including "Ah! Leah!" and "My Girl."
A limited number of VIP reserved seat tickets, which include admission to Taste of Cleveland, are available for $20 atwww.livenation.com, www.ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. General admission is $7.
Taste of Cleveland will take place Aug. 31 through Sept. 3 at Time Warner Cable Amphitheater in downtown Cleveland. More than 30 restaurants, eateries, cafs and bistros will dish out sample-sized selections of their best entres. In addition, a hearty helping of national, regional, local and cultural music entertainment will be served throughout the weekend.
