Man gets jail time for stealing auto parts

A Wakeman man was sentenced Monday to 120 days in the Huron County Jail and three years of probation for stealing automobile parts with a Marblehead man. Ryan P. Burch, 19, of 4815 W. River Road, could be eligible for the work release program, Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Richard Woodruff said. Huron County Common Pleas Judge Jim Conway decided not to fine Burch because he wanted the defendant instead to make restitution, which Woodruff said "could be considerable."
