The school board has decided to keep Willard High School in the Northern Ohio League (NOL), declining an invitation for the school to join the Sandusky Bay Conference (SBC).

Willard Athletic Director Dave Ball said a "clear 80 to 90 percent" of coaches were in favor of remaining in the NOL. The school has been an NOL member for decades.

Stories about the decision and other matters discussed at the school board meeting were published in Tuesday's Norwalk Reflector. My guess is that a good number of people in the district let the school board and administration know that they did not want to move to any SBC.
The NOL is just fine, thank you.
