Local teen girl injured in crash

Troopers say 17-year-old driver was going too fast for the road conditions.

A local teen girl was sent to the hospital after the car she was driving went of the road and overturned.

Kelly A. Staab, 17, of 3135 N. Township Road 80, Bellevue, was driving south on Section Line Road 30 at 6:03 p.m. Friday when she lost control on the gravel and went off the left side of the road, where her vehicle hit a ditch and overturned, said troopers with the Norwalk post of the state Highway Patrol. Troopers said she was going too fast for the road conditions.

Willard Fire & Rescue transported her to Mercy Willard Hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.

Staab was charged with failure to control.
