FIRELANDS OUTDOOR NOTEBOOK - There's plenty for everybody in Michigan

Last week I wrote about charter boat fishing in Lake Huron and made the point that the lake is not dead, but thriving. But it's worth pointing out that our northern neighbor has more to do than seek trout and salmon on big water. Many readers head north on a routine basis this (hot) month and next seeking clear water, cooler nights, and pretty lakes surrounded by white barked birch and cedar, and there's plenty to do for fisherman and non-fisherman alike.
