A Summit County judge has sentenced convicted triple murderer Richard Beasley to death on a multitude of charges, including aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, kidnapping and robbery, Fox 8 reported this morning.

Judge Lynne Callahan upheld a jury’s recommendation to give the 53-year-old, dubbed the “Craigslist Killer,” the death penalty after his conviction on the charges last month.

Beasley lured then killed Ralph Geiger, 56, of Akron; David Pauley, 51, of Norfolk, Virginia; and Timothy Kern, 47, of Massillon, all of whom responded to a help-wanted advertisement for a farm hand that was placed on Craigslist.

He was also convicted of attempted murder for the shooting of Scott Davis, who escaped after Beasley shot him in the arm. Davis ran into the woods then tipped off police.
