Charges are pending in a two-vehicle accident with injuries Tuesday morning on Egypt Road.

Willard resident Kaitlin J. Resor, 20, of 529 Quail Creek Drive, was eastbound and Helen Eadie, 61, of 3599 Liberty Road, Willard, was traveling west. Troopers with the state Highway Patrol reported the two vehicles collided at the top of the crest of a hill .2 miles west of Ohio 99.

After the collision, the 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Eadie overturned, went off the right side of Egypt Road and stopped in a ditch, troopers said. The 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Resor stayed in the road.

A LifeFlight helicopter transported Resor to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo with serious injuries. A hospital spokeswoman said Resor was in good condition in the intensive care unit late Wednesday morning.

Eadie went to Mercy Willard Hospital with minor injuries. No further information was available about her condition.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage to the left front and were towed from the scene.

The Willard Police Department reported receiving a 9-1-1 call about the collision at 7:45 a.m. The Huron County Sheriff's Office then dispatched two deputies, Willard Fire & Rescue and LifeFlight to the scene.

Who's Eadie? Did we miss a paragraph?

When they told who went to the hospital they used both women's last names not first names.

Eadie is the last name of the other person involved, I think her first name was Helen?
