n John Prack of North Fairfield, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2007 semester at Washington University in St. Louis.
Prack is a graduate of St. Paul High School in Norwalk, and is enrolled in the university’s John M. Olin School of Business.
To make the dean’s list in the Olin School of Business, a student must earn a semester grade-point average of 3.6 or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 hours of graded course work.
n Sara M. Brown of Columbus, formerly of Monroeville, graduated cum laude May 12 from the Columbus College of Arts & Design. She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in illustration.
Sara is the daughter of Thomas and Carolyn Brown of Monroeville.
n Rebecca Lynn Dills of Norwalk has received the Erie-Ottawa Mental Health Education Fund Scholarship to attend Bowling Green State University Firelands College. She will receive $1,142 toward her tuition for the 2007-2008 academic year.
This endowed award was presented to BGSU Firelands to ensure funding into perpetuity for students pursuing mental health professions, and in memory of all those who served on the Board, as staff members and most of all those who used the services of the Erie-Ottawa Mental Health Center. This award is available to students from Erie and Ottawa counties who are attending at least part-time and planning to pursue a degree in mental health. Juniors and seniors should be given primary consideration and need should be considered as well.
Dills is a 2004 graduate of Norwalk High School.
She is a junior majoring in social work at BGSU Firelands where she has been on the dean’s list.
She is the daughter of Karen Walker of Norwalk.
Amanda Fries of Norwalk qualified for the dean’s list at BGSU-Firelands. She is a sophomore and the daughter of Rebecca Fries. She will attend the main campus this fall semester.
