Several heroin suspects were arraigned Monday in Huron County Common Pleas Court.
Jamie L. Brady, 21, of 4150 River Road, has a June 27 trial date on possession of heroin. The indictment alleges she used a 1996 GMC Sonoma to commit the Jan. 15 offense. Judge Jim Conway said the vehicle might be subject to forfeiture if Brady is convicted.
Huron County sheriff's detectives said they seized "a significant amount of heroin paraphernalia," including spoons and syringes with suspected heroin residue, after a police dog indicated there were drugs in the truck during a sweep around the pickup truck.
"Jamie made admissions she last used heroin (Jan. 12)," Detective Sgt. Josh Querin said afterward.
Brady also is charged with tampering with evidence in connection with a Sept. 24 incident. The third-degree felony reportedly relates to deputies investigating some stolen all-terrain vehicles. Deputies arrested her Sept. 26 at a Greenfield Township residence. Her trial in that case is set for March 26.
The defendant, who is about 17 weeks pregnant, is out on bond.

How in the world can the cops find stolen 4 wheelers at her boyfriend's parents house & those 2 only get charged with tampering for repainting the atv's? I predict another slap on the wrist.If you catch trash stealing your crap beat 'em senseless or blow their brains out & lie like hell. I just said in a previous comment I take RANDOM drug screens and have passed them all. I'm not a junkie. Never have been or will be. So what I got high a couple times. I'm SURE none of you have never been drunk???? Yeah ok. It's the SAME thing only ones legal and ones not. Drinking and driving is not legal but I bet more people have done that than haven't.
