Caitlin C. Donnelly, 20, of 14317 West Road, Wakeman, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Tuesday after her vehicle struck a vehicle owned by Gerken Paving, of Napoleon, on Township Road 62.

Charles E. Stone Jr., 59, of 2049 Butler Road, Wakeman, hit a deer Wednesday on County Road 186.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday at 55 Whittlesey Ave.

NORWALK POLICE

A Norwalk resident reported the theft of a cell phone from a Westwind Drive business Tuesday.

Reported finding a toddler wearing just a diaper outside near the street in the area of Wooster and Rule streets Wednesday. An officer, after releasing the child to the mother, reported the incident would be forwarded to Huron County Children's Services.

A Concord Court resident reported a possible fraud Wednesday.

A North Prospect Street resident reported their son's bicycle stolen Wednesday.

A juvenile reported being assaulted at the intersection of Cline and Fruen streets Wednesday.

Felina E. Lewis, 47, no address available, was arrested Wednesday on an Erie County Common Pleas Court warrant and charged with failure to appear. She was released to an Erie County sheriff's deputy.

Assisted North Central EMS at an Old State Road, North Fairfield, address Wednesday.

An Ohio 162, New London, resident reported losing a cell phone Wednesday.

A Cook Road, New London, resident reported being threatened Wednesday.

A Section Line Road 30, Bellevue, resident reported an assault Wednesday.

An East Main Street, North Fairfield, resident reported a shot gun was stolen from the residence Wednesday.

An Ohio 61, Plymouth, resident reported vehicle damage Wednesday.

Dispatchers were advised of alarm activations Wednesday on Liberty Road, Willard, and Remelle Road, Monroeville.

Residents on U.S. 20, Wakeman, and U.S. 250, Norwalk, reported possible break-ins Wednesday.

The Norwalk Police Department reported arresting a juvenile on a Huron County Juvenile Court warrant Wednesday. The juvenile was transported to the Sandusky County Juvenile Detention Center and picked up today for an 11:30 a.m. court hearing.

A Wenz Road, Wakeman, resident reported her mailbox was stolen, but her neighbors' mailboxes were undisturbed Tuesday.

Dispatched the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department and a deputy to East Main Street, North Fairfield, in response to smoke being visible from a suspected fire upstairs Tuesday. A firefighter later hosed down Ridge Road, North Fairfield, after latex paint fell from his vehicle on the way to the fire.

An Alpha Road, Greenwich, resident reported a "smaller size truck" drove through and damaged a corn field Tuesday.

A Beckstein Road, Bellevue, resident reported three horses were in the road Tuesday.

A Townsend Avenue business employee reported a non-injury accident in the parking lot Tuesday. John Curry Jr., 59, of Barberton, was charged with disorderly conduct (intoxication).

Dispatched a Willard ambulance and deputy to Island View Lane, Willard, in response to a swimmer with an injured leg Tuesday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a vehicle stolen from South Main Street, North Fairfield, Tuesday.

The Loran County Sheriff's Office transferred a 9-1-1 cell phone call from Cook Road, Wakeman, Tuesday.

The Huron County Jail reported Roberta K. Kane, 25, of Vermilion, was intoxicated when she turned herself in Tuesday on a driving under the influence charge. The suspect remains in custody.

The owner of a U.S. 250, New London, business requested a deputy check on the business Tuesday after the owner received a report of juveniles playing with the gas pumps.

WILLARD POLICE

An area resident reported seeing a young boy walking down the street in his pajamas, carrying a stuffed animal. An officer later found the boy with his parents who said they were having a party and didn't realize he left the house.

Advised of a "small boy" inside a local gas station without an adult. He was returned to his home on Park Street.

Were not able to find anything related to the report of "some type of altercation taking place" and a truck being driven recklessly in the 600 block of Park Street.

About 45 minutes later, Marlon J. Caceres, 26, of 124 S. Main St., Willard, was charged with driving under the influence, going left of center and driving on a sidewalk in connection with an incident in the area of Maple and Park streets. Caceres also was charged with possession of marijuana in connection with an officer finding the drugs in a cassette case.

Michael Barnett Jr., 23, of 614 Park St., Willard, was charged with disorderly conduct (intoxication) in connection with a domestic incident at an undisclosed location. He also was accused of making threatening comments to the female victim.

A Hayes Street resident reported receiving threatening messages from a mother about not giving her child back. The caller said she was watching the daughter of some friends who had moved, but hadn't given her their new address. An officer spoke with all the involved parties and arrangements were made to pick up the child.

A Clark Street resident accused a friend of her boyfriend of not bringing her son home after allowing the suspect to take the boy to an out-of-town birthday party.
