Norwalk boys beat Sandusky in tournament opener

Other local teams advance after sectional wins

The Norwalk High School boys' basketball team defeated Sandusky 79-41 tonight in a Div. I sectional tournament opener. The Truckers now advance to a sectional final Friday night.

Other area teams also notched postseason victories.

In Div. II action, Perkins defeated Edison 75-49, and Bellevue beat Port Clinton 71-34.

In Div. III, Western Reserve won in overtime, 57-71, against Woodmore.

And in Div. IV, Plymouth defeated Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic 67-47, and St. Paul defeated South Central 60-35.
