A Bellevue man accused of stealing rings and drugs from his godmother in September pleaded guilty Friday to attempted burglary.
Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler said Adam T. Godfrey, 24, of 8609 County Road 29, Bellevue, was originally charged with burglary in connection with the incident.
Leffler said Godfrey stole rings from his godmother’s house, took them to a pawn shop and then returned them to his godmother.
Sentencing will be at 8:45 a.m. April 3.
