PLYMOUTH Authorities returned to a home at 4283 Ohio 61, Plymouth, with a search warrant Tuesday night on an allegation two Detroit-area suspects have been selling crack cocaine and heroin. The Huron County Sheriff's Office Special Response Team (SRT) assisted in using a warrant at the same address last week.

No arrests were made Tuesday when Capt. Bob McLaughlin, Norwalk Police Detective Sgt. Todd Temple and three other officers affiliated with METRICH, a regional drug task force, went to the home, McLaughlin said. The investigator declined to say how when the ongoing investigation began.

"Officers knocked and announced their presence," Temple wrote in his report, and one man "came to the door and refused to open (it)." Officers entered the home after McLaughlin forced the door open, ordered the two occupants to the ground at gunpoint and McLaughlin conducted a search, he continued.

There was no further information available about the nature of the search. McLaughlin said he has not returned the warrant to be filed in Norwalk Municipal Court.
