Twelve singers and instrumentalists from eight cities have made it to the final round of the "Firelands Idol 6" Talent Challenge.
The public is invited to the show at which their ticket is their ballot to vote for a Teen, Junior and Senior Idol for 2013.
Show time is at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Edison High School Little Theatre, with tickets going on sale at 1:45 and doors opening for V.I.P seating at 2. General admisssion is $8 and reserved seating begins at $10. Children ages 4 and under are discouraged from attending.
The following will compete for the coveted titles: Ashland, Cara Whitcomb; Bellevue, Kaelan Vogt and David Scagnetti; Fremont, Tammy Harder; Monroeville, Haley Olds; Norwalk, Matt Fannin, Krista King, John Noftz; Plymouth, Rex Kilgore; Wakeman, Nick Falbo; Willard, Olivia Adelman, Scott Barnett, Steve Chambers, Patrick Jaeckin, Valerie Lane and Rebecca Plotner.
The three winners will proceed to do a "start turn" in the Sunday, March 24 "Another Round" (formerly "Straight No Chaser") concert at the Norwalk High School Performing Arts Center. Award money will be given after each singer performs. Tickets for "Another Round" are on sale with about 300 reserved seats remaining.
The performance begins at 3 p.m. with seating at 2:30. Tickets are $15 and up and can be purchased by calling the T & C box office at (419) 668-1641. Both events are part of the 47th season of Towne and Country Players.
