NEW YORK CITY  - "I'm getting drenched."

With those words, Bob Spettle of Norwalk got his few minutes of fame.

Bob and his wife, Jeannie, were standing in the rain waiting for tickets Wednesday morning to the "LIVE with Regis and Kelly" show in New York City.

As the cameras panned the street during the opening of the show, Bob Spettle was pictured standing in the rain.

"Hey Bob, come on in, we've got a seat for you," Regis said.

"Is that Mrs. Bob? Bob and Mrs. Bob," Kelly said as the two were escorted into the show.

"Wait a minute, who invited Mrs. Bob?" Regis said.

The two then got to watch the show from the stage.
