Responded to a transformer fire where a squirrel had gotten on top at 7:11 a.m. Monday at 80 St. Mary's St. Returned to station at 7:25.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 9:37 a.m. Monday at 17 Walnut St. Returned to station at 9:50.

Asked the owner of 23 Parsons St. to extinguish a small, unattended camp fire at 9:12 p.m. Monday. Returned to station at 10:08.

NORWALK POLICE

A Cline Street resident reported the theft of his red Next Flat bicycle Saturday.

An employee of a Milan Avenue business reported a female suspect in white Oldsmobile Alero drove off without paying for $20.02 worth of gasoline Monday and left heading south on Cline Street. The incident remains under investigation.

An area resident reported finding an abandoned red and silver Mongoose bicycle Monday on Cline Street. Another resident found an abandoned black and neon green Mongoose Rebel bike on the same street.

Transferred Rickey A. Jordan Jr., 26, of 7634 Ohio 61, Plymouth, from the Crawford County Jail on a local warrant Monday. He was charged with failure to appear for his initial hearing on a theft charge. Jordan currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Saw a male suspect hit a sawhorse today on Woodlawn Avenue. Terry L. Grose, 50, of 42 Homewood Ave., was arrested on a warrant and was charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

The Amherst Police Department reported having Michael A. Sanders Jr., 20, of Lorain, in custody on three warrants today. He was charged with failure to pay fines and costs. Sanders is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

A tractor-trailer driver reported the theft of three batteries from his truck which was parked at a U.S. 20, Bellevue, business over the weekend.

An area resident reported being assaulted Monday on U.S. 20 after going there to confront several suspects about selling drugs to her estranged husband.

An Old State Road resident reported someone dumped garbage in his front yard Monday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a Dogtown Road, Monroeville, resident threatening to commit suicide with a gun Monday.

A South Old State Road reported a suspected burglary Monday.

Dispatchers received two 9-1-1 calls about a motorcycle accident Monday on U.S. 20 between Ohio 18 and U.S. 250.

The Willard Police Department reported having Tysan B. Baldridge, 28, of 503 Spangler St., Willard, in custody on a Huron County Juvenile Court warrant Monday. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail for failure to appear.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about an unruly juvenile Monday on South U.S. 250, New London.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from an East U.S. 224, Greenwich, resident having a suspected mental episode Monday.

An area resident reported vandalism Monday at the old school building Monday on West Ashtabula Street, North Fairfield.

A Greenwich Milan Townline Road, Greenwich, resident reported the suspected violation of a temporary protection order Monday.

An area resident reported the theft of several undisclosed items from a North U.S. 250 storage unit Monday.

An Ohio 61, Plymouth, resident reported a domestic dispute Monday.

An area resident reported seeing a suspicious vehicle Monday at Collins United Methodist Church.
