Local authorities have received part of the state's report on a Willard shooting in which a woman was shot in the foot during a drug raid. Two Willard officers involved in the shooting have returned to "full duty."
"It's a pretty significant report. They took some time on it," said Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler, who declined to share the basics of the results.
"It was thorough. They talked to a lot of people ... maybe a dozen," he said.
The report is part of an ongoing investigation by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) of the Dec. 19 incident at 631 Pleasant St., Willard. A bystander -- Toledo resident Erica Devlin, 19, -- and a pitbull dog were shot when two pitbulls rushed members of the Willard Police Department and part-time Greenwich Police Officer Sean Nolen. Willard EMS transported Devlin to Mercy Willard, where she was treated for a minor foot injury and released.
Afterward, Detective Jeremy Draper and Officer Brian Slone were re-assigned to desk duty. They are now back to full duty.

And imagine that.....one of these guys back in the paper for stealing. Throw this trash in jail. We need to clean Willard up and work together as a community to rid this town of constant trash that takes up so much of our local law enforcements time and effort.

But we also need a new judge, these cops are doing their jobs, and the court systems are offering way too many "Plea deals" and giving way too many "slaps to the wrists" sentences. Good Job to the officers doing their jobs, and keep it up!
Glad the cops are back on duty! The people who will have the rude comments to say about this are the ones who don't like them cause they've gotten busted & are salty about it. Their just doing their job!!!!
Honestly I had little faith in our police department up until I needed them and they were so amazing. I have nothing bad to say about our police department including how awesome the Chief of Police Mark was so understanding and helpful with my unfortunate ordeal!! I am glad these two are back on the streets to help clear up our trash!
It's amazing how the Zarcone kid can have a drug raid on him and about a month later is going into someone's house and stealing a TV. It shows that he never learned anything and never will. Lock him up for a longgggg time or deport his as*, he's obviously no good to society.
And when I say deport, I know he's not illegal but I just want him out of here. As soon as he gets out of jail he's just going to do the same things again.

Just because your friends keep getting into trouble and keep getting caught doesn't mean our law enforcement "sucks" and can "more explicit language"...according to you. Maybe these punks should consider a new hobby because its obvious being a career criminal isn't for them.

because they learned from their mistakes. Drug raid.....then 3 weeks later are caught stealing. Yup, they learned. Just glad they didn't steal from someone packing or they'd be six feet deep.

One of the first rules of firing a gun is, know what is behind your target.
Now if I was out deer hunting and shot at deer and missed and hit someone I would be in trouble, Why are they not getting in trouble? At least they should be made to take a gun safety course or an eye test or something. If they do not know what they may hit if they miss, maybe they should not be carrying guns.

A drug raid with charging pit bull dogs is totally different than sitting in a deer stand, waiting for a deer and having all the reaction time in the world. Try another comparison please.
First off the dogs were not even charging the cops that's just what they say to cover their side of the story. look if the dog was hit in the back right leg how was he.charging he was running away from officers then they fired and as for the girl she was directly.shot from right in front of her. oh I bet you guys don't know this cause it was never in the paper they shot into the house and a bullet hole is in the hallway. the dog warden was there to do what he didn't do his job they knew dogs were in the house so why did the dog warden go threw the back door and why is one of the pits getting adopted out?! Don't they have to pass a temperament test in order to be adopted??! the cops did a horrible job executing the search warrant it was all messed up and yes I was there when it happened.and as for people saying stuff about the girl that got shot she doesn't do drugs she was at the house because of her boyfriend!!! She was there saying by cause she had to leave for work she just happen to be wrong place wrong time like I said before this is not over its still going on the prosecutors office just now got ahold of the case its only over from bci stand point

I agree with you, if they are a cop and trained to protect then why did they accidentally trip and shoot someone? They were really not responsible for their actions and I think that they were so excited to bust this house that they didn't care what they were doing they just wanted in, but I know that she is getting justice for this and that is all I care about.
