Robert Mahan said it was a "bit creepy" Tuesday going through the Ridgefield Township intersection where he was in bad accident a few days earlier.

"I'm one of those people who says if you fall off the horse, you have to get back on," he said.

But more importantly, the Oak Harbor resident wants everyone to know his family is out of the hospital, recuperating and doing well.

"We definitely had a lot of angels looking out for us," Mahan said.

Mahan discussed the accident and the aftermath for a story in Thursday's Norwalk Reflector. To read the full story, pick up a copy of that issue or subscribe to the e-paper for less than $1 per week and read it now.

Glad to hear they're all doing well! :-)

Brock Lee

you all get better soon

So happy his family is on the mend. Just a reminder (and I know the accident was not this family's fault) - always make sure your children are buckled up! And hope that the other family is on the mend, too.

Thank You God!!

Continuing in prayer for all.

Thankful everyone is okay. But seatbelts could have made the injuries less severe.

Were the bloody hospital pix really necessary? Come on Reflector.

If those pictures are reminder in a parents mind when they put their child in the car to do it properly with a proper restraint then those pictures were necessary.. They may very well save a child's life. Just a wake up call for some people.
