HIGHWAY PATROL No citation was issued Thursday immediately after the collision between the vehicles driven by Joyce A. Alonzo, 49, of 1802 Daniels Road, Willard, and Torres Isidro, 53, of Mercedes Texas, on Section Line Road. Alonzo attempted to pass Isidro and hit the left side of the farm equipment Isidro was pulling with a tractor.

Alonzo attempted to pass Isidro and hit the left side of the farm equipment Isidro was pulling with a tractor.

NORWALK FIRE

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 5:29 p.m. Monday at 185 W. Main St. Returned to station at 5:55.

Provided five firefighters, a tanker and pumper-tanker to assist the Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department with a barn fire at 8:13 p.m. Monday at 347 New State Road. Returned to station at 9:30.

NORWALK POLICE

A West Chestnut Street resident reported being threatened Monday.

An East Main Street resident reported the theft of his car keys, Cedar Point employee ID, ATM card, driver's license and Samsung Slider cell phone from a Republic Street business locker Monday.

Kathleen Cole, 47, of 8221 Ohio 61, Plymouth, was charged with one count of passing bad checks on a warrant Monday.

A Concord Court resident reported someone keyed her 1988 Pontiac Formula on Monday. The incident remains under investigation.

Responded to a private property accident at a Cline Street business Monday. The driver of a 2003 Ford Focus cut a corner too close and clipped a parked 1998 Ford Ranger.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

A Baseline Road, Plymouth, resident reported someone broke out the back window of his parked vehicle Monday.

The Willard Police Department transferred a 9-1-1 call about domestic violence Monday on Alpha Road, Greenwich.

A Halfway Road, Monroeville, resident reported a suspicious vehicle drove by slowly twice Monday.

An area resident requested a deputy check on the well-being of an Alpha Road, Greenwich, resident suspected of being suicidal Monday.

The Shelby Police Department reported having David Ramirez, 32, of Shelby, in custody on a Huron County Common Pleas Court warrant Monday. He was charged with probation violation in connection with absconding supervision. Ramirez currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Charles S. McMurray, 33, of 439 S. U.S. 250, was arrested on a Huron County Common Pleas Court warrant Monday. He is serving a 90-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

A West River Road, Wakeman, resident reported the theft and recovery of a packet of checks Monday.

An Ohio 598, Plymouth, resident reported the theft of about $50 from her husband's wallet from a car in the garage Monday. She also reported the theft of several Vicodin pills out of her purse from her locked home.

An Ohio 4, Bellevue, resident reported her mailbox was missing after an area motorist hit it Monday.

The sheriff's office special response team used a search warrant Monday on Ohio 61, Plymouth. There was no further information.

A West Collins Road, Collins, resident reported her son was being unruly Monday and accused him of calling her vulgar names.

Dispatchers received several 9-1-1 calls about a New State Road, North Fairfield, barn fire Monday. The Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department, Willard Fire and Rescue, Huron River Joint Fire District, Tri-Community Joint Fire District, North Central EMS and a deputy were dispatched to the scene.

A South Ridge Road, North Fairfield, resident reported a vehicle dispute Monday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about a suspected burglary Sunday on South Main Street, North Fairfield.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from Arcade Road about a neighbor's pool cabana on fire Sunday.

An area resident reported an intoxicated pedestrian heading west on Ohio 162, Monroeville, toward Ohio 99 Sunday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call from Ohio 18, New London, about removing a large snake Sunday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about an East U.S. 20, Wakeman, domestic violence incident Sunday.
