Huron County Sheriff Dane Howard issued a level one snow emergency Friday afternoon.
At 7 p.m., the sheriff canceled the advisory.
A level 1 emergency lists roadways as hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads also are icy so drivers should be cautious.
In Ohio, there are three levels of snow emergencies, with a level one being the mildest.

Whats a level 3, 3 inches of snow.
JUST SO YOU KNOW.......arnmcrmn
A Level 3 snow emergency means all roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those on the roads may subject themselves to arrest.
If its a Level 1 today I am sure King Dane will need additional funding to monitor this these weather conditions.
Yall Make Me Sick, you do realize that arnmcrmn comment was sarcasm....
@Swamp, arnmcrmn asked a question and Yall Make Me Sick answered obligingly.
I am sure arnmcrmn's question was in earnest and not of a puerile nature.
I guess I didn't guess I was just was trying to be nice.

I'm just under the most recent impression that if it snows at all. Even a 1/4 of an inch, some level will be coming out.
I would guess it is also another opportunity for King Dane to issue a press release and keep his name constantly out there. So many press releases. The question is, what press releases are not being issued and why not?
King Dane will ask for additional funding to cancel the latest emergency..
