The June 25-July 1 Willard Police Department blotter had the following highlights:

June 25

A Dale Avenue resident reported a domestic dispute. Shawn Pool, 26, of 203 Woodland Ave., Willard, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. He remains in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Tamara Rosales, whose age was unavailable, of 252 Plymouth St., Plymouth, was arrested on contempt of court warrants from the Shelby Police Department.

Dispatched the Willard Fire Department for a car fire at a Woodland Avenue business.

A South Main Street resident reported a traffic crash.

An area resident reported a Motson Street hit-skip accident.

Carlos Verdugo, 29, of 123 Keefer St., Willard, was arrested in connection with a hit-skip accident and was charged with driving under the influence, driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident. He posted bond that day and was released from the Huron County Jail.

June 27

The Huron County Sheriff's Office requested undisclosed assistance on Willard West Road.

Adam Vice, 19, of 121 Central Ave., Willard, was arrested on passing bad check warrants. He was released the next day from the Huron County Jail after making a pay agreement with Norwalk Municipal Court.

June 28

A Maplewood Street resident reported having received four harassing phone calls.

Found a brass marijuana pipe at a home in the 500 block of Dale Avenue while checking it for a suspect in a breaking and entering incident.

A caller from a local apartment complex reported the theft of medication.

An area motorist reported being involved in an accident in the 1300 block of South Conwell Avenue.

A Park Street resident accused her boyfriend of taking her phone and throwing it.

An area motorist reported a vehicle hit hers in a West Walton Street business parking lot and left the scene.

A Motson Street resident reported two pedestrians threw a cigarette into his boat and burned a hole in it.

Kyle Weiner, 18, of 410 E. Walton St., Willard, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant and transported to the Huron County Jail, where he remains in custody.

A Washington Street resident reported his missing daughter returned.

John D. Leitz, 19, of 602 Myrtle Ave., Willard, was charged with underage consumption and possession of alcohol in connection with a park incident.

June 29

A caller reported seeing a male suspect push down a female near the pine trees on East Walton Avenue. The victim later was located at the festival in the park. Brendan Church, 22, of 118 E. Seminary St., Norwalk, was charged with domestic violence.

Dispatched the Willard Fire Department for a pole fire near the park stage .

June 30

Dispatched the Willard Fire Department to the Blossom Centre for a grass fire.

July 1

Elias Diaz, whose age was unavailable, of 119 Dale Ave., Willard, was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct in connection with a Maple Street incident.

Officers reported a disturbing the peace complaint on Myrtle Avenue.

Dean Thornsberry, whose age was unavailable, of 410 E. Walton St., Willard, was charged with driving under the influence in connection with a traffic stop.

Kyle Branham, whose age was unavailable, of 503 Spangler St., Willard, was charged with underage consumption in connection with a traffic stop.

A caller from the Willard Park reported children were playing near an uncovered manhole behind the depot. Officers located the cover and replaced it.

The Huron County Sheriff's Office requested officers check the area of Ohio 103 and Bullhead Road for someone laying in the ditch. Ricardo Domingo-Ortiz, 26, of S. Ohio 103, Willard, was charged with disorderly conduct.

A Dale Avenue resident reported undisclosed property was stolen from his vehicle.
