Local historian and collector creates new book

"Castalia, Cold Creek, and the Blue Hole" includes more than 200 historical images of the Cold Creek area from Castalia to Venice. Local historian and collector Glenn C. Kuebeler is the author of the new photographic history book.

"Castalia, Cold Creek, and the Blue Hole" includes more than 200 historical images of the Cold Creek area from Castalia to Venice.

Local historian and collector Glenn C. Kuebeler is the author of the new photographic history book.

Kuebeler has dedicated his book "to the Firelands Postcard Club, the Erie County Historical Society and the many local area historians who have collected, persevered and documented (their) rich history."

Highlights of "Castalia, Cold Creek and the Blue Hole" include:

Features images of area trout fishing clubs: Castalia Trout Club, Owen-Illinois Castalia Farms, Sunnybrook Trout Club, Rockwell Springs Trout Club and Cold Creek Trout Camp.
