Sixteen storefronts along Main Street in Uptown Norwalk participated in a storefront decorating contest during Thunder in the Streets.

Diamond Collection, which displayed the most detailed and welcoming decorations, captured first place. Second place went to Robert's Art Gallery and third place went to LinDale 'M Broidery.

First prize is a getaway weekend to Cherry Valley Lodge near Newark, and second- and third-prize receive respectively $100 and $50 worth of Summit Motorsports Park merchandise.

"The goal of the contest was to welcome the drivers and fans to Norwalk, and I'm very pleased with all of the participation," said Dave Gulden, program manager for Main Street Norwalk.

Judging was done by the Thunder Committee, and Summit Motorsports Park provided the prize package.
