Willard man, accomplice accused of violent robbery

A Willard man currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail on allegations he and a another man assaulted a carnival employee early Friday morning. Authorities are searching for the suspect's accomplice. Joshua D. Bartell, 27, of 3934 Walnut Road, is charged with robbery and felonious assault in connection with the incident about 2:50 a.m. Friday on Thomas Road. He also is being held in custody on three contempt of court warrants.
