Grand jury indicts 38

Erie County grand jury indicts more than three dozen people.

An Erie County grand jury has indicted 38 people.

The following people were indicted on these charges during the most recent grand jury session:

Gregory S. Leigh, Sr., on three counts breaking and entering, safecracking, possession of criminal tools.

Kenneth R. Wirsche on possession of cocaine.

Cariston M. Edmon on attempted burglary.

Juan Recio, Jr. on two counts driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, resisting arrest, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, obstructing official business, assault.

Wanda Bailey on possession of heroin, aggravated possession of drugs.

Harlen Bailey on possession of heroin, aggravated possession of drugs.

Richard "Lee" Clinton on three counts trafficking in cocaine.

Semaj M. Smith on two counts burglary, complicity to commit burglary, two counts theft, complicity to commit theft, receiving stolen property, breaking and entering.

Sean M. Tuttle on receiving stolen property.

Andrew Hansen on four counts complicity to burglary, theft, two counts complicity to commit grand theft, having a weapon while under disability.

James D. Armstrong on four counts complicity to burglary, two counts complicity to commit grand theft, complicity to commit theft, complicity to having a weapon while under disability.

Gustava Walls, Jr. on preparation of marijuana for sale, forfeiture.

Charles A. Oliver on preparation of cocaine for sale, possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence, forfeiture.

Kyree T. Brown on burglary.

Karon D. Page on three counts trafficking in cocaine.

Michelle R. Moore on two counts possession of cocaine, aggravated possession of drugs.

Lorraine K. Myers on possession of heroin.

Andre M. Stockett on aggravated possession of drugs, possession of drugs, forfeiture.

Joshua D. Ohlmacher on two counts aggravated possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Preston McCracken on breaking and entering.

Brandon D. Halbisen on misuse of credit cards, receiving stolen property.

Jon J. Peak on five counts theft, attempted theft, three counts forgery.

Mary A. Lawhorn aka Mary A. Spaulding on possession of heroin.

William B. Pettis on burglary, grand theft, unauthorized use of motor vehicle.

Orange Green aka Owen Green on failure to verify/register change of address.

Tyson D. Cross on burglary, safecracking, two counts grand theft.

Jonteal D. Cherry on felonious assault.

Kenneth C. Coffin on complicity to preparation of marijuana for sale, complicity to possession of marijuana, possession of hashish, forfeiture.

Lucas Franz on complicity to preparation of marijuana for sale, complicity to possession of marijuana.

Thomas Whitlow on complicity to preparation of marijuana for sale, complicity to possession of marijuana.

Joseph P. Myers on aggravated possession of drugs.

Rolland G. Forney, Jr. on aggravated burglary, robbery, tampering with evidence.

In addition to those 32 people, six others were secretly indicted, meaning their names and charges won't be made public until arrests are made or court papers are served.

Nearly half of them were for drug offenses...that unreal.

i'd be willing to bet alot of the theft, and recieving stolen property charges are drug related too
