A Bucyrus woman and Willard man were sentenced Wednesday to three years of probation and up to six months in a community-based corrections facility for separate cases.

Jennifer S. Tuttle, 30, pleaded guilty May 16 to possession of heroin for a July 31 incident in Willard, Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Richard Woodruff said.

Dean E. Shepherd, 36, of 921 Armstrong Drive, pleaded guilty May 17 to burglary for stealing two televisions from a Willard-area building used by seasonal workers, Woodruff said.

On Jan. 15, 1999, Shepherd was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 21 days served and two years of probation for possession of marijuana. He had his driver's license suspended for six months, but the judge granted him work and probation office visit driving privileges.
