CLEVELAND Michael Stanley and The Resonators are set to heat up the Bud Light Main Stage at 9 p.m. Sept. 1 at the 12th Annual Taste of Cleveland.
The event is presented by Pepsi, Cleveland.com and WKYC-TV 3.
Born in Cleveland, Stanley has been a hometown favorite and regional phenomenon since starting The Michael Stanley Band (MSB) in 1975. The band secured a strong and loyal following during the 70s and 80s with chart topping hits such as "He Can't Love You" and "My Town." MSB also toured with rock & roll legends including Bruce Springsteen, the Eagles, Foreigner and the Doobie Brothers.
The group disbanded in 1986 only to reunite less than a decade later to form the new band Michael Stanley and The Resonators. Stanley will release his 22nd album, "The Soft Addictions," with The Resonators in July.
The 12th annual Taste of Cleveland will take place Labor Day weekend at the Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City (formerly Tower City Amphitheater).
