Firelands Electric Cooperative announced its planned power outage scheduled for Wednesday has been delayed due to hot and humid conditions, and is rescheduled to take place Friday.

Areas affected by this planned outage will be Firelands members living in Greenfield, Norwich, and Richmond townships.

A transmission line owned by First Energy/Ohio Edison delivers electric power to Firelands' Steuben Substation, and will be taken out of service for about eight hours, beginning at 8 a.m. as crews replace a bad pole in their transmission line.
