David J. Jones, 33, of 233 Hamilton St., Bellevue, was charged with failure to control Sunday after he went off the right side of Ohio 113 and hit a mailbox support.

Kimberly A. Davis, 49, of 195 Ohio 99, Willard, hit a deer Sunday on Ohio 99.

Mindy A. Ebersole, 19, of 2888 Section Line Road 30, Willard, hit a deer Monday on Fayette Road.

Cory M. Williams, 16, of 735 Townline Road 131, North Fairfield, was charged with failure to control after a private property accident Monday on Milan Avenue in which he hit the left side of a Willard woman's car.

A Gallup Avenue resident reported the theft of her son's yellow Dynacraft bicycle Monday.

Leon E. Hunt, 30, of 34 Norwood Ave., was arrested on a warrant Monday when he came to the police station to speak to his probation officer. He was charged with fleeing and eluding. Hunt currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Michael A. Shepherd, 18, of 31 Woodlawn Ave., was arrested on a warrant Monday and was charged with a driving under the influence-related license suspension. He is serving a three-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

An employee of a North U.S. 250 business reported a male suspect attempted to cash a $290 fraudulent check Monday. Police forwarded a report to the Norwalk Law Director's office.

An employee of a Benedict Avenue business reported damage to the front door during an attempted break-in Monday.

An employee of another Benedict Avenue business reported someone stole an undetermined amount of cash during a break-in Monday.

Christopher M. Bruner, 28, whose address was unavailable, was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana in connection with an East Main Street incident today.
