Holly Daniel and Coty James want to know what happened to their baby.

By all appearances, 15-month old Khyrhyn Roger Zachary James was a happy, smiling, bouncing baby who loved his Zebra bouncy toy, running around and playing with his cousins and saying the word “puppy” and playing with his puppy toys. When he was born, he weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 21.5 inches.

Doctors do not know why Khyrhyn died suddenly on Dec. 14. A story about the family's ordeal was published in Friday's paper.

A benefit for a Norwalk toddler who died suddenly is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Willard Moose Lodge, 2153 220 E Walton St.

The event will include a spaghetti dinner, bake sale, 50-50 drawings and a silent auction. Admission is by donation. Proceeds will go toward the cost of the funeral. If you cannot make the event but still wish to donate, call (567) 224-9727.
