Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 5:36 p.m. Sunday at 248 W. Main St. Returned to station at 6.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 3:37 p.m. Sunday at 31 St. Mary's St. Returned to station at 3:55.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 4:09 a.m. Sunday at 10 Marshall St. Returned to station at 4:26.

Assisted North Central EMS at a crash scene on U.S. 250 at 11:05 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extract a patient from the vehicle. Returned to station at 1:15 a.m.

Responded to 645 U.S. 250 at 9:53 p.m. Saturday for smoke in the basement. It was determined the well pump overheated. Returned to station at 10:45.

Responded to a small mulch fire caused by a discarded cigarette at 223 E. Main St. at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The fire did minor damage to the porch skirt. Returned to station at 10:50.

Responded to 26 Spring St. at 9:57 a.m. Friday for a vehicle leaking gasoline. Returned to station at 10:15.

Responded to a small campfire at 17 Spring St. at 11:02 p.m. Sunday. The fire was allowed to burn out. Returned to station at 11:30.

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient at 10:01 p.m. Sunday. Returned to station at 10:22.

NORWALK POLICE

Christine Rivera, 28, no address available, was arrested Friday on a contempt of court warrant, posted bond and was released.

A North West Street resident reported money and a check were missing Friday.

Troy Carroll, 35, of 13302 Ceylon Road, Berlin Heights, was arrested Friday on several warrants and charged with aggravated menacing and menacing by stalking. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Sally E. Powers, 38, of 115-A N. West St., was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Friday after she hit the vehicle driven by Brook L. Durbin, 19, of Huron, on Milan Avenue.

Scott E. Wojnar, 31, of 4683 En Road, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance Friday on Old State Road after his vehicle rear-ended the vehicle driven by Seth A. Dawson, 17, of 14 Dublin Road.

Received a report of a 9-year-old girl who was bitten by a dog on East Main Street Saturday.

Brian E. Pickett, 33, no address available, was charged with disorderly conduct Saturday.

Lori I. Pratt, 43, of 40 Norwood Ave., was charged with dog barking Saturday

Maxwell R. Myers, 18, no address available, was charged with possession of fireworks, underage possession of alcohol and an open container violation Saturday.

A Milan Avenue business owner reported property damage Sunday.

Joseph Mack, 42, no address available, was arrested Sunday on a local warrant. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

David Z. Gonzalez, 52, of 23 Newton St., Apt. B8, was charged with driving without a license Sunday on West Main Street after his vehicle rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kelly A. Brutcher, 37, of 247 W. Main St.

A Norwalk resident reported his CD player was stolen from his pickup truck while parked at a Westwind Drive business Sunday.

Charles B. Scurry, 47, of Akron, was arrested Sunday for burglary. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.
