New London Eagles Car Show a success

NEW LONDON The second annual New London Eagles Car Show took place last Saturday on the club grounds on Fir Street. The owners of the 104 entries voted Rick Doughtery from Mansfield first place with this '56 Chevy. Wellington's Bill Watters came in second, also with a '56 Chevy, and John Caugherty from Lucas placed third with his '32 Chevy. Organizer Tim Langford said the raffle for the jukebox donated by Lorain Music brought in $726 and all money raised by the show was given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He thanked all the sponsors and helpers that made the show such a success.
