Cosmetology students pass exams

AVERY Twelve EHOVE Career Center cosmetology students traveled to Columbus recently to take their Ohio Cosmetology state board exams. Local students who passed their practical and written exam include: Allison Grosswiler of South Central, Kristale Reed of New London, Kristi Shadwick of Edison, Chelsea Stevens of South Central, Maria Vera of Western Reserve, and Sarah Ziegelhofer of Edison.

AVERY Twelve EHOVE Career Center cosmetology students traveled to Columbus recently to take their Ohio Cosmetology state board exams.

Local students who passed their practical and written exam include: Allison Grosswiler of South Central, Kristale Reed of New London, Kristi Shadwick of Edison, Chelsea Stevens of South Central, Maria Vera of Western Reserve, and Sarah Ziegelhofer of Edison.

The licenses are a requirement in order practice cosmetology. All high school cosmetology students passed the exam and are now licensed cosmetologists. Students prepared for the tests which are intense, day-long sessions consisting of a 1-1/4-hour written exam and four hours of hands-on practicals.
