Norwalk man charged with insurance, identity fraud

A Norwalk man has been charged with insurance fraud and identity fraud felonies in connection with trying to pass off his friend, who was wanted on unrelated warrants, as himself. The injured 33-year-old friend didn't feel comfortable with the situation in which Robert A. Strader, 52, of 23 Newton St., Apt. D8, offered to have him use his identification, Norwalk Assistant Law Director T. Douglas Clifford said.
