A bicycle was reported stolen at Jo & Ed's Carryout at 155 Whittlesey Avenue Monday.

20-year-old Adam Fox was issued a summons Monday for underage consumption of alcohol near Pohl's Park on Main Street.

A Newton Street resident reported her home had been broken into Monday and some Vicoden was stolen.

Wayne Breitigan, 45, of 39 East Key Drive was taken into custody Monday to sober up after he called the police regarding his stepson. He was cited and released to his mother.

A Stoutenberg Drive resident reported a broken window Monday.

A Newton Street resident reported Monday the screen on her detached garage had been cut over the weekend.

An exit sign in the Key Bank parking lot, 51 E. Main Street, had been pushed out of the ground over the weekend, it was reported Monday.

A Whittlesey Avenue resident reported Monday his house had been ransacked though nothing was taken.

Lawrence D. Flesch, 28, of Vermilion, turned himself in to the Norwalk Municipal Court Monday on a warrant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

A blue Roadmaster mountain sport bicycle was reported abandoned Monday at 253 West Main Street.

An apparently ill raccoon was retrieved from Insurance Services, 19 Whittlesey Avenue, Monday. It was taken to the firing range and killed.

A driver hit a dog on Benedict Avenue Monday. The dog sustained minor injuries and was taken to Mapleview Animal Hospital. The driver requested a report for insurance purposes.

An officer killed a sick squirrel in the area of Norwood Avenue and Southwood Monday.

MONROEVILLE PD

A Brownsville, Texas resident reported being the victim of identity theft June 6 in connection with an incident dating from April 1, 2005. After he renewed his Texas driver's license, the victim received a cancellation letter because of a pending Ohio case. The victim, who said he has "never left Texas, much less been to Ohio," forwarded color copies of his Social Security card and current license to police.

The Huron County Sheriff's Office received a report from an area motorist who accused a juvenile of throwing a rock about 5 inches wide at his windshield Wednesday on U.S. 20 near South Peru Center Road.

A Brown Street resident reported a dog bit a 12-year-old boy in the face below his right eye while he was attempting to catch it for the dog's owner Friday. Donald A. Baican, 34, of 27 Manchester St., Monroeville, was charged with dog at large. Police forwarded a report to the Huron County Dog Warden and Huron County General Health District.

An employee of a Sandusky Street business reported being threatened by a female customer Saturday. Police forwarded a report to the Norwalk Law Director's office for the consideration of charges.

Responded to North Street in connection with domestic violence and a suspected break-in Saturday, based on a tip from the Huron County Sheriff's Office. Police advised the victim to file domestic violence charges with the Norwalk Police Department.

Alain S. Hubbard, 20, of 8 Granny Smith Drive, Norwalk, was charged with driving with a suspended license Saturday and released. Police said he was wanted on an undisclosed Wayne County warrant, but it is out of the pick-up radius.

Nicholas A. Taylor, 20, of 62 Monroe St., Monroeville, was charged with disorderly conduct Sunday after his father reported he came home from a friend's house "highly intoxicated" and caused a disturbance. Taylor was held in the Huron County Jail until sober. Police said he was wanted on an undisclosed Wood County warrant, but it is out of the pick-up radius.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The Shelby Police Department reported having Brian T. Meadows, 38, of 54 E. Elm. St., in custody on a local littering warrant Monday. He was released from the Huron County Jail later that day after posting bond.

The Wakeman Police Department reported a party with suspected underage consumption Monday on East U.S. 20, Wakeman.

A woman reported a "small, underage drinking party" Monday on U.S. 224, Greenwich.

A construction worker reported 10 to 12 feet of copper tubing was missing from a Washburn Road, Willard, farm house Monday.

A North Old State Road resident reported the theft of two cans of gasoline from his garage Monday.

Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about an Edwards Road, Greenwich, domestic dispute Monday.

An Ohio 601 resident reported being threatened Monday.

A Townline Road 12, Greenwich, resident reported Monday three suspicious suspects entered a barn with flashlights. NORWALK FIRE

Assisted North Central EMS with a patient Monday at 279 E. Main Street at 9:45 a.m. Returned to the station at 10:15.

Extinguished a fire at 12:13 p.m. Monday in the landscaping at Henry's Flower Shop, 26 Whittlesey Avenue, with a water-can extinguisher. Returned to the station at 12:20.

Responded with the Milan Fire Department to a false alarm on Shawmill Road at 9:06 p.m. Monday. Returned to station at 9:34 p.m.
