An Ohio man who allegedly killed his father will appear in Lucas County Common Pleas Court today to face a murder charge.
Jacob Kutsch, 21, of 1131 Earlwood Ave., Oregon, was charged last week with murder for the Nov. 3 death of his father, John Kutsch, 58. He remains in custody at the Lucas County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond pending arraignment.
Oregon police said a life squad arrived at a house on Earlwood where the elder Mr. Kutsch was unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m. A violent altercation occurred at the house shortly before Mr. Kutsch's death, police said.
