Local police are seeking help in catching a break-in suspect or suspects.
Several business in Bellevue have been the targets of breaking-and-entering crimes, including Great Lakes Packing, Bierkeller Pub, Bellevue Meats, the VFW, Gildemeister and Dendinger's car wash, police said.
"At one of the crime scenes, we were able to discover an odd item that is out of place for this establishment," Detective Eric Burt said.
The item, shown in the accompanying photo, is a rubber band that has the shape of an arrow as part of it.
Anyone with information about this item or the break-ins is encouraged to contact Burt or Detective Tom Saleski at the Bellevue Police Department at (419) 484-5525.

Microchip the heroin addicts. Then follow them.
What about their constituional rights to privacy and to become repeat offenders?? That might cramp their "style"! Could be wannabe professional burglars, too. Don't want to group them with the "real" criminals. Oh, wait. You commit a crime, you ARE a criminal. My bad!
looks like it could be something to mess up a security camera or jam a lock with , my first guess was some sort of grappling hook but it's too small.

Car wash... wash rental (stolen? car) and take loose change. I guess
This is weird enough to not even see a pattern.
Police may wish to keep an eye out for the Xmas tree in the Union Square, so they don't steal it this year.
Just saying...
