The Huron County Highway Department is taking care of some end-of-year maintenance before the snow begins to fall.
These "last-minute projects" started with the repairing of a section of Washington Road near Drake Road.
"We had a number of complaints about that section of Washington," said Joe Kovach, county engineer. "There are a number of things that affect that part of the road. Drainage is our biggest concern, with it being on a hill."
