Attica man sent to prison for burglarizing junk yard

An Attica man was sentenced to one year in prison Wednesday for burglarizing a Huron County junk yard. James Sampson Jr., 23, will serve the burglary term after he finishes serving six months at the Lorain Correctional Institution for a probation violation. Seneca County authorities had been doing "courtesy supervision" when Sampson failed to report to his probation officer, Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Richard Woodruff said.
