A Peru Center Road, Monroeville, resident reported mailbox vandalism Wednesday.

An Ohio 18, Wakeman, resident reported the theft of a check Wednesday.

A Peru Center Road, Willard, resident reported a theft from his checking account Wednesday.

Assisted Willard police with searching for fence panels on Townline Road 187, New London, Wednesday.

Received a report of threats made on Old State Road, Milan, Wednesday.

A Neal Zick Road, Willard, resident reported the theft of money Wednesday.

Received a report of a runaway juvenile on Cook Road, New London, Wednesday. Later, deputies received a report of a stolen vehicle at the Fitchville rest area. The missing juvenile was located with the vehicle.

A Miller Road, Willard, resident reported a suspicious vehicle Wednesday.

Received a report of a missing juvenile boy from the Attica area Wednesday.

NORWALK POLICE

A League Elementary School student reported the theft of a Next bicycle, valued at $150, from the school Wednesday.

Audias N. Morales, 26, 520 Milan Ave., Lot 3, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. He also was charged with assaulting a police officer on an allegation he resisted arrest. Morales currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

William S. Hood, 64, of 66 Christie Ave., was issued a summons Wednesday and charged with moving traffic control devices.

NORWALK FIRE

Responded to Milan Avenue at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday to assist North Central EMS at a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Gallup Avenue. Returned to station at 3:30.

Responded to 139 Milan Ave. at 7:54 a.m. Wednesday for a carbon monoxide investigation. None was detected. Returned to station at 8:02.

Responded to 120 N. Pleasant St. at 5:47 a.m. today to assist North Central EMS with a patient. Returned to station at 6:02.
